Thoroughly annoyed doesn't even begin to cover it

Ok, so this morning I get this e-mail from the President of the College saying something along the lines of "Hey, the economy sucks...we're gonna raise tuition :)" So now, from a horrid $42,000 we must now pay a life-changing $43,900. That's an extra $1900 if you havne't already figured that out. They better give me so much more money in aid. I'm so annoyed. I'm just having money problems galore. Today, the dryer decided it wanted to take an extra 75 cents from me...greeeeat. And also, I find out that I may have to pay extra taxes for recieving Federal Student Aid. That's not income! It's aid...I'm so annoyed. I almost broke down today. I never used to fret about money. I think it's all starting to change.

I'm going to try to fandangle my way into an extra 2-3 hours a week at work. I really need the hours, and I would love to have them. Otherwise, I might just try for another job.

Oh yah, did I mention I'm completely happy in my relationsip? Yeah...it's like that :)

On Saturday, Gordon got me to join their Lord of the Rings extended edition trilogy take over your life party. I pretty much only watched the first one, then did homework and slept. Plus I was (and still am) sick, so it's ok to sleep.

I've decided I'm going to major in Communication Sciences and Disorders. I like the classes, and I've just finished transcribing a language sample. It's all good and I really like it.

We watched Beauty and the Beast and Muppet Treasure Island the other night, and I believe we're going to watch The Pagemaster on Wednesday. Yay! And Obama got in the way of House last night. I was, yet again, thorougly annoyed.

We went and saw a comedian last night. His name is KT Tatara, and I think he looks like a chick in pictures. He's damn hilarious though :)

Ok, that's all of my boring life today I think. I wish I were more exciting.

They raise the tuition every year. I'm not sure how it works with aid, but I know they didn't give me any extra scholarship money. I kind of think they should make that a percentage of tuition rather than a set amount of money per semester.

Also, if you think you're worried about money, try being a senior who's graduating in the midst of a recession. I freak out about money on a bi-weekly basis (sometimes more).

On a completely different note, the Pagemaster is an awesome movie. Ever since I saw it when I was a little kid, that has been the library of my dreams.
