I'm really excited, I get to set up my room, see all of my friends, and of course, get to see Gordon. It's been 3 looooong months, but it will all be such a relief. The only bad thing about leaving is that I'm leaving Ryan and Nick. Ryan is going off to college and I'm sort of worried about him. He seems kind of out of it lately, and I'm just hoping he'll adjust well. I'll see if he wants to talk to me when we hang out this week. Nick's getting his liscense next month, so maybe he can come out and visit me!

I need to hang out with Andrew this week as well. I don't know when, but it better be fun. I don't need to ask for it to be fun, because it always is.

So, I have this problem with packing, because I've been organzing what goes inside each box. This sucks if you're trying to condense things. Packing also sucks, because I hate having to pack the things that I use everyday, because I think that I'm going to forget something. I'm apprehensive to start packing these things that I use, because I don't want to have to keep getting them out.

I have to go shopping for some of the essentials as well. And I have to go through my food boxes. I'm going to try to condense THAT to one box as well. We'll see how that goes.

I printed out all of my pictures that I wanted, and I went through my older ones, and decided which ones to not take with me. I just realized, that we're not going to be able to finish watching "The OC". Katie and my goal was to watch the whole first season this summer. We'll probably be able to fit in a couple more episodes today. Hopefully!

Ladies Indians game tonight! It's me, Katie, my mom, Alyse, and Samantha. It should be fun, even though they traded every good player they had under the sun.

Okay, back to packing. I feel like everything is sitting in the living room and if I'm not constantly packing, then it's not going to get done. Therefore....sucks!

:)

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_IubBGorpTxk/SoGd6cSvm-I/AAAAAAAAAIY/dw9Tx48MV1Q/s320/ben.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5368745858155125730" />

I'm such a bad summer blogger

Ok, so 19 days until I go back to Wooster. I'm excited to see everyone, but I've gotten so much closer to my friends here at home (Ryan, Nick, Andrew, Alyse, Sarah), that I'm also sad to go back. I'm definitely more excited than sad though!

I'm trying to get my last 8 hours of observation in for this summer before I go back, since I don't want to do them during school.

We went to the beach yesterday for my moms birthday, and it was awesome. My butt got sunburned, but it was still really fun anyway and I enjoyed myself so much.

I have a lot of pictures to print out.

I've decided I'm bad at blogging in the summer because nothing ever happens lol.

Ok, that's all.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_IubBGorpTxk/Sm3vuPuHFSI/AAAAAAAAAHw/7eydGAcTyzA/s320/IMG_0092.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5363206309041083682" />

Jam sessions reveal love

I've realized today how much I truly love Nick and Ryan. They mean so much to me, and I think it's gonna be harder for me to leave for college this time. Ryan's going to college too, in Akron, so not too far away, and of course Nicks' gonna be in Parma. My summer would not have been as much fun without them and I wouldn't be able to replace my memories with them. It's kind of odd, since Ryan and I are exes, you'd think we would hate each other. Complete opposite. We are like two peas in a pod. Someone even asked if we were siblings. We might as well be. And Nick is just as much of a brother to me. I want them to teach me guitar, so I can join in on the jam sessions of love, and it shall be joyous. I just can't get over those two. That's really all this is about, how much I love my boys. I definitely need a picture with all three of us before I go back.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 241px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_IubBGorpTxk/Sl1FL612U8I/AAAAAAAAAHg/1pE_cqyj9xE/s320/bffryan.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5358515202716750786" />

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 242px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_IubBGorpTxk/Sl1Fc5AbKpI/AAAAAAAAAHo/3LpaiQVr_cs/s320/nickpicnik.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5358515494282013330" />

Burnin' up, burnin' up.....for you baby.

Got back from Tennessee on Sunday. It was a pretty good trip, not quite relaxing since we did so much, but good nonetheless. We went on a hike, and we went to Dollywood and the waterpark, and went shopping in Gatlinburg which is a cute place. The weather was pretty hot, but it was only really humid the first day we were there which was cool. The first morning we were there, we woke up and looked out the window and it looked like we were floating in the clouds. The fog was as thick as ever, we couldn't see anything in front of us. It was pretty awesome. All in all, the cousins became a little bit closer, and the adults grew sick of each other haha.
I also came home with quite a horrid sunburn on my back. Whenever I sit back, it feels like I'm leaning on a cactus. It's getting better though.
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_IubBGorpTxk/Skol3lIIMnI/AAAAAAAAAHQ/CKFul-39bkk/s320/girls.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5353132743872492146" />

Yesterday my mom told me that someone that lives by my Uncle Dave is selling a car for about $3000 and she thinks I should think about it since I need a car, and that's pretty cheap. Plus it's only got 12,000 miles which is hard to believe. It's a 1994 Chevy Lumina. It's silver. It's not really my type of car, but I could always get a paint job, or new sound system if it needs it. I still haven't gone to look at it yet, but I'm keeping an open mind. Here's what I think it will probably look like.
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 166px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_IubBGorpTxk/Skom9_DUErI/AAAAAAAAAHY/0XXyus694XY/s320/lumina.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5353133953422463666" />
I'm not too keen on it, but we'll see.

I need to finish up my observation hours. I think I need about 8 more ish. I need to set that up soon. I also need to make an appointment to get my wisdom teeth out. I'm not too psyhched about that either.

I've decided I want to learn how to speak Italian. I doubt it will ever happen, but if it did, I would love it. Haha.

Oh! We went to a flea market in Tennessee, and I found a set of 6 swing music records for only $5! I was so excited :)

I think that's all. I haven't blogged in so long, but my life has been quite the bore. Now it's time to get back on that work out train.

Olive Brackets?

Sunday, Katie and I had a video chat with our friend Adam from Wooster, but originally from Kentucky. He was at his condo in San Diego (woo Mr. Moneybags j/k). It was just fun to see him and talk to him. Plus there were some misunderstandings, and he took "I love records" as "Olive Brackets?"

Today was my second day of observations, and I'm still really happy with my choice of major and job. I'm not going to go over everyone today, since it's usually the same, but I did get to see an evaluation, and I observed an SLP working with a child on the Autism Spectrum. Boy do you need patience to work with those kids. So far I have 7.5 hours. I'm sure I'll get them all done by the end of this week. She loves me! It makes me happy, but I don't understand then, why she doesn't listen to my advice! Geeezus! Oh well, at least she thinks of me that way :)

I started my 25 clinical observation hours today. It was super duper fun! I had to dress "business casual", but everyone else was in maroon scrubs. I felt kind of out of place, but I can't wait till I get to wear my own scrubs :) I also have to wear a neon pink name tage. But I put it on my Wooster lanyard, so it's cooler ;) I saw five kids today. 3 of them were actual language and getting speech therapy, and the other two were both around 2 months old and were getting a sort of swallowing analysis. I learned that today too, that SLP's work with swallowing as well as speech. I guess it's because it all involves some of the same parts of the mouth or something.

So the kids who were getting speech therapy, one was a cute little boy who had problems with his "wh-" questions. The SLP would ask "What do you use a spoon for?" and he'd answer "At my dad's house." He was shy at first, but then they pulled out the huge lego blocks, and he warmed up. The second boy had cerebral palsy, but only on his left side which I've never seen before. He was so hyperactive! Oh my gosh. He was a little unintelligible, but I figured out most of what he said. He also said something about going to jail...I don't know what that's all about. The last one had speech therapy at the same time that he was having occupational therapy. He was in a wheelchair, and was asleep when he first came in. When he woke up though, he was a hoot! I'm not sure what he had, but he had ankle braces on, and his occupational therapy goal was to be able to go up and down steps. They have little step stools for him to step up onto and off of, and I felt so happy when he got it done. He was also working on the "wh-" questions, and they incorporated me by having him ask me "What do you want to build?" "What do you like?".

The other two kids were very young (both around 2 months) and maybe had swallowing difficulties. The first one was a little girl in the PICU (pediatric intensive care unit). She was abused by her parents, she was a sad case. It broke my heart to see her, and she was so cute. The SLP and the OT (occupational therapist) checked to see how her sucking and latching on were, and also how her swallowing was. They ordered for her to have a barium modify. The second child also had a barium modify. He was a premie, so he was bound to have some type of problem. His parents were both hispanic, and only his father spoke english. This showed me that minoring in spanish might not be that bad of an idea after all. I just need to study harder. Anyway, the SLP's fill a bottle with a barium liquid, which shows up on an x-ray. They make a bottle of thick mixture, and one of a more thin mixture. Then they set the baby up next to the x-ray and start feeding him. The x-ray makes a video of how the baby is swallowing and it shows if he's aspirating the liquid or not. That means that the liquid or food is going into the airpipes. This baby was apspirating the thinner liquid, but not the thicker one, so the SLP's reccommended that they feed him thicker things for now. Since his mom only spoke spanish, they found a doctor who is Cuban, and was bilingual. It was really cool to watch him talk with her. It was also really cool to watch the barium and see where it goes down. Your eye kind of needs to be trained to see it, but I found myself being able to do it.
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 298px; height: 320px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_IubBGorpTxk/Si3LrjfCBrI/AAAAAAAAAHA/Bnah78L9F0s/s320/barium.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5345152281878857394" />
This is a Modified Barium Swallow x-ray, but it's in an adult. In a child, that long bone going down the throat isnt' able to be seen since it hasn't developed yet.

I liked the therapy clinic. There is a jungle room that the kids really like and then there are about three or four smaller rooms that they do their speech therapy in. The SLP's desks are small and cubby-like. I'll compare them to IS carrels. But I think I could really get used to it there. I also found an SLP, Kristen, who graduated from Wooster! She started asking me questions about Lowry, it was funny.

I don't think I'll write about every single day that I'm there, I'm not sure if I should, kind of patient confidentiality thingy, and I don't know if I'm violating that.....but I just feel like talking about it. Oh yeah, I need 25 hours, and the sessions usually only last a half hour, so right now, I have 2 hours and 45 minutes. I have the feeling I'm going to be going back for another week after this one.

I went over Katie's this weekend and we started planning our room. I'm sooooo excited! I just want to go back!! I've also started reading "My Sister's Keeper" since the movie is coming out. It's really good. I don't think I really have much else to talk about. I'm sure I'll update kind of frequently this week.

Much Love!!

You can't pray the gay away!

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_IubBGorpTxk/Sia00Lk6w0I/AAAAAAAAAG4/sn2AbT4s2o4/s320/gay+rights.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5343156816475505474" />
So, this weekend I went to a gay rights rally that was set up by a gay boy in my old high school. There were about 30 young people there, and it was pretty inspiring. We had many signs, one that said "Honk for gay marriage", and we got many, many honks. We also had people who would scream out the window at us, yelling "FAGGOTS!!" and other things. It made me feel bad that people felt that way, but it was also exhilirating because it felt good to be standing up for something I felt was right. I've also noticed a lot of young guys not being for gay marriage. I have half the mind to believe that they're just homophobic, but whatever. It was a really great experience, and I really hope that a change comes to Ohio, and later, America.

My mole in my groin was removed on Thursday, and so far it's healing alright. It's been kinda itchy, but I think it may just be the band-aid. I just want it to heal fast!

I ordered my $124 bathing suit, it came out to $132 with shipping. I feel really bad spending it, but I think I'm gonna really love it, and I'm gonna wear it for years to come. I really want to buy more fashionable clothes as well. I want some cute tights, and also new boots.

I'm still looking for a job. I'm not sure if it's going to work, but I applied at a resturant that's opening soon ( I hope I applied....I got no response), so hopefully I'll get hired. My bank account is going to be so low by the end of this summer! I just need a job so badly! I'm just mad that I didn't get hired at American Eagle. I think that would have been a great job for me. Oh well, there's always next summer.

I've been working out the same amount, but I think the working my metabolism up is working. Hopefully I'll keep in great shape over the summmer. Yay!

I really feel like studying this summer, I"m not sure why. I'm going to study my CSD stuff in a little bit, I think. Also, I want to get back up to date on my Spanish, so hopefully I'll get a little better at that as well.

Ok, off to make lunch :)

Best Campout Ever!!!

This weekend I want camping with the Kowicki's. It was in a town called Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, and was about a 6 hour drive. We got there and right away there was trouble. So, there were four campsites of Puerto Rican people, I'm guessing they were all family, or friends, and then right next to us was a white family of 3, the kid being about 4 years old. Apparently the night before we got there, the Puerto Rican people had been really rowdy and loud at 2 am, and the guy next to us called the cops on them. Then the day we got there, he came over and said he was going to go to the showers and he said that if anything weird went on with the Puerto Rican people, to call the cops. Nothing went on, so we went on eating dinner. After dinner, the white guy got into a verbal fight with one of the Puerto Rican guys. His wife pulled him away and made him get into the car. They drove away quickly, running over some of their belongings. They came back about and hour later, with 3 ranger vehicles. The white guy gets out of his car, goes straight over to the Puerto Rican guy and starts throwing punches! It was GREAT!!! There were so many people! It was so eventful! I loved it. Anyway, that was the highlight of the camping trip.

So, also, we went kayaking. Twice in one day actually. Katie and I went in a two-person kayak. Let me tell you, my arms were burning. That night, my left arm was aching so badly that it kept me up half the night. I had to massage it! The hard ground and the cold also kept me up, but I fixed the ground problem (kind of) by laying on my pillow, and the cold problem by putting on my hoodie and getting in my sleepiing bag.

We rode a train, and it was really cool. We saw a tunnel through a hill that the train used to go through, and it made me want to take a train cross-country!

The car ride there was so cramped! Katie and I had to sit completely on the seat, like our feet couldn't be down or anything. But it was ok. I also read most of my "Luxe" book, it's so good!! I love that series.

I have to go to the doctor's on Thursday, to get a mole removed, and to get a TB test so that I can do my clinic hours. I really hope Victoria's Secret calls me. I want to get money so I can buy a car. I want my own so badly! Dancing at the Bohemian is this Saturday! And a fire with my friends is on Friday! This weekend should be super fun :)

That's all for now.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_IubBGorpTxk/SiApwsJMd1I/AAAAAAAAAGw/ouaeHw0wbOs/s320/fishing.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5341315074521593682" />

I'm blue da ba dee

So, I'm home for the summer. It's only Wednesday, and it feels like this week is going by so unbelievably slow. I hope the whole three months doesn't go by this slowly. I'll die if it does. At least I'm trying to be active this summer. Today, Katie and I walked around Parma going job hunting. I ended up only applying at one place, Chuppa's Fruit Market, but I also have applications for American Eagle and Victoria's Secret. I still haven't called the Flowerama people back, I think I might wait a little bit until I turn in all of my applications. That might not be the best move for me though. While I was walking, I guess we walked past Mike Niedetzki, who was one of my summer mistakes-ish. I guess we'll see how that goes, I'm not sure if I'm going to hang with them or not. I'm thinking not.

Today, I finished my book that I've been reading, called Rumors. It's the second in a series about the late Victorian era. I really like them. The ending was super depressing, and that sucks because I've been feeling so blue lately. I'm pretty sure it's hormones though, so it's okay. Since I've finished that book, I've started re-reading "The Importance of Being Earnest". I'm excited to re-read it. I also requested a lot of books from the library. I'm hoping to go up there a lot this summer and read some childrens books like a creeper lol.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 211px; height: 320px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_IubBGorpTxk/SgttwUL_bSI/AAAAAAAAAGg/bTKGs78Qk6k/s320/rumors.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5335478860370636066" />

I really need to find some student loans. I don't know where to look or anything. It sucks. I need to SEARCH! I've also been searching for the bathing suit of my dreams. I've found two, and both times they've been either out of stock, or cost $120, which sucks!

So, I just had a deep-ish conversation with my mom about boys, and curfews, and how I think she should be more lenient, and how I never really felt comfortable talking to her about stuff. But now that it's all out, I feel a bit better, and not everything is all stuffed up in my brain just waiting to come out. Now I can feel like we have a normal close-like mother daughter relationship.

I cleaned out my closet, and need to keep cleaning out my room to sell stuff at a garage sale. I'm selling my stereo too, which should bring in some good monies. This summer I think I'm going to really practice my flute, and maybe pick up the guitar again. I'm not quite sure. I just don't want to sit around on Facebook all day, or watch TV, or sleep. I got really mad at dinner when my sister was ranting to my parents about how I'm "addicted to Facebook". Yeah I'm on a lot, but I'm not addicted....and I hate when people say that I am.

I want to find out what day we go back to Wooster for band camp....like really bad. I also need to start going to the clinical observations. I need to get a dumb TB test, blah. And I'm getting a mole removed. I'm not too excited about it, but might as well get it out of the way.

Katie and I watched a movie from 1940, it's called "His Girl Friday". I'm not really sure what the title has to do with anything, but it was entertaining and I really loved it.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 222px; height: 320px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_IubBGorpTxk/Sgtt-A7gO6I/AAAAAAAAAGo/zH-i_56iQv4/s320/his-girl.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5335479095719377826" />

I've been finding really good videos on youtube lately. Two of them are of this little Korean kid singing Beatles songs, and they're so cute and funny! And this other one is of a ninja cat. I don't know, I think it's just hilarious.

Ryan Sayles said he'd be my swing partner for this summer, let's see how that goes....lol

Ok, I think that's it for now. I'll probably keep up with my blogging since I'll probably have nothing else to do all summer. Toodles.

Time flies, flies eat fruit?

So, I'm leaving Wooster in 3 days. This has been the fastest school year ever, and supposedly they go even faster as you move up. I really don't want to leave. Yeah I miss my family, my cousins, my friends, my kitty....but I'm going to miss everyone here too. I'm getting really sad, especially when I see Gordon because it's going to be a long 3 months. We'll get through it. I'm starting to pack, and I've found letters that were written to me by friends, and I'm getting very nostalgic about them. I really like my room, and I really like my roommates. Of course, I'm rooming with Arielle again next year (and Katie too!), but Julia's pretty awesome. I'll miss her. And I'm definitely going to miss my RA, she's so awesome! Also, my senior friends from swing dancing. They're leaving and it probably won't be the same without them. We're going to keep carrying on traditions though, and I can't wait to be a big part of the "Let's Dance Society". I also can't wait to start dancing with BW kids again. Goodbye 2008-2009 school year. I'll miss you for sure.

I'm still not sure if I'm going to be studying abroad, but my friend gave me a good point. She said that by the time I've had another two semesters in Wooster, I'll feel comfortable enough to leave. Who knows.

I've been watching the Indians games. I really like watching them in my dorm. Katie and I also had a baseball party complete with Cracker Jacks. She's really awesome to me, and I'm going to really try to do a better job doing the same from now on.

Gordon read my last blog about marriage and death and all that stuff, and he wanted to have a deep conversation. I love having deep conversations. He said he wants to wait to get married, which works for me. Who even knows where we'll be when he/we graduate. I'm just a dreamer....daydreamer. My mom also hinted that she would be heartbroken if her grandkids lived in a different state. It made me laugh. Not the heartbroken part, just the part about her assuming-ish about me and Gordon lol.

I'm done with finals, I just have to finish this project that I have to do for Visual Text, which is designing an "I Love Lucy" resturant. It's ok I guess. I got a 74% on my Spanish final, which is pretty good for me. I'm not sure what I got on my other two, I just have to wait.

I've really felt like reading lately. I've also decided that over the summer I'm going to walk or ride my bike to the library and read a bunch of the children's books. It will help for my major (ish), and also bring back memories. I'm going to be doing a lot of reading over the summer.

Speaking of the summer, I'm going job hunting. I kind of really want to work at Chuppa's, which is like a fruit market on the end of my Papa's street. I'm applying at a lot of places. I also need 25 observation hours in a Speech-Language Hearing Clinic. I've got most of that figured out.

My DVD player was being really dumb today...I hope I don't need to buy a new one.
I also found a really cute video of a Korean toddler singing Hey Jude, it's the CUTEST THING EVER!

I can't wait to live in Babcock and set up my room. I'm going to have a shower curtain as my closet door. Whoopee! I think that's all for now...

I'm excited and sad at the same time. If I think of more, I'll write it later. And I'm gonna keep writing in this blog through the summer, then start a sophomore year one. I didn't realize I wrote so much :)

Oh! I've started writing down things that bug me about society. It's in a notebook called "Society Annoys Me". I haven't really written much in it, but it might go somewhere. Also, when I was cleaning out my stuff, I found a story that I started writing during first semester finals. I re-read it, and it was actually pretty good. I think I might expand on it eventually.

This is my favorite picture of them both.
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 241px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_IubBGorpTxk/SgI9dbR0J8I/AAAAAAAAAGY/Rt0t3QkbzgI/s320/loves.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5332892484508067778" />

Mirror, Mirror on the Wall

I've been really caught up in thinking about the future, so I thought I'd write it all down.

First, I've been thinking about marriage a lot. I know I shouldn't be, I'm only 18, but what girl doesn't think about it? I mean I'd like to get married young, maybe almost right out of college. I know of some people who are already engaged, mind you they're seniors, but still. I love watching shows like "Say yes to the dress" and thinking about going to Kleinfeld Bridal in New York and trying on my dream dress. And oh, looking at rings in jewelery shops just gets my imagination flowing.I don't think being in love is helping me to not think about marriage either lol. I also don't want to scare a certain someone off with my idea of marriage. It's not like I'm proposing or anything, just daydreaming. Secondly, my Dad probably wouldn't be the happiest of people if I wanted to get married right out of college. He says I should get a good job first, and not move anywhere. He wants me to stay in Ohio, which I'm not complaining about, but what if....
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 243px; height: 320px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_IubBGorpTxk/SezbuIz-tEI/AAAAAAAAAGA/FgR8aKbZQ44/s320/dress.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5326874044958422082" />

There's also the kids thing. I want to have 3 or 4, so I'd have to get kickin! Haha. Baby names are always fun to think about too. Jack, and Lucy, amongst others, are my favorites. This blog would freak my parents out if they saw it. Haha.

Along with marriage comes a house. I know a lot of people who have just bought their first house, and it's so exciting! I was just looking at all of the flowers outside today and was thinking "I'm going to have so many pretty flowers outside of my house". My house will be completely amazing. I think Katie wanted to live with me right out of college. I'm up for that, as long as I'm not married lol. Oh geez.
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_IubBGorpTxk/SezcimM44BI/AAAAAAAAAGI/N5fdjzpuvHA/s320/garden.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5326874946200723474" />

Then there's the job. I would love to be an SLP (Speech Language Pathologist) at Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital at University Hospital. I'm going to try to make my in during the summer and so on with maybe a desk job and some clinical observations. That's my dream hospital. But who knows where I'll be living.
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 173px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_IubBGorpTxk/Sezc6RwsO2I/AAAAAAAAAGQ/7PHYO34GW8s/s320/rainbow.png" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5326875353030605666" />

I think the last thing I've been thinking about is death (not like suicide). The past couple of nights it's popped into my head, and has hindered my sleeping. I mean, death is probably the thing I am most afraid of. Anytime I really start thinking about it I get knots in my stomach and I just hate it. I'm afraid of the uncertainty of where my soul will go, what the point of my life is anyway, what it will be like. I'm not afraid of it happening quickly, and when I'm young. I'm afraid of getting old (which I don't want to happen, I want to stay young forever), and knowing it's coming and not being able to do anything about it. Everyone around me crying, holding my hand. It sucks to think about it, and I hate it when it comes up in my mind.

I think my future is bright. Only money problems might hinder me, I hope not....ok, I want it to stop raining now.

Don't fall asleep in the sun...

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 207px; height: 320px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_IubBGorpTxk/Seu5bvPpt8I/AAAAAAAAAF4/EwiKhGZvdGQ/s320/flowerbush2.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5326554870485465026" />
Well, right now I'm supposed to be writing a paper about intervention for a little boy named Payton. But I dont' really feel like it, sooooo.....Blog!

It's been a little while. But I guess I'll start with the fact that I'm pretty sure everything with Katie is completely bandaged up and healed. I'm very happy, and I can't wait for next year! Oh yeah. We got into Babcock. At first we didn't cuz Sangeeta sucks and lost our applications, but we kicked and screamed and were "first on the waiting list" and got right in after room draw. Luckily there was a triple left, and we are now the proud owners :) It's gonna be amazing.

I'm really really liking my CSD classes and can't wait for next semester classes. I'm doing clinic observation hours at University Hospital this summer to get them over with, so I don't have to do them during the school year. Hopefully the lady will e-mail me back soon, otherwise I'll have to call her.

I don't want to leave Wooster. Half of it is that I don't want to pack up all my crap. The other half is that I don't want to leave all of my friends and Gordon. Yeah, some of them I'll be able to see over the summer, but ugh! I'm gonna super sad. And that leads to about 3 months away from Gordon. I've done one month, and I survived it. But I think I'm growing much fonder of him lol. Over the past four weeks, either of us has been gone for a weekend. And this weekend was the worst. I don't know why, but it feels like I haven't seen him in forever and the longing is just killing me. I can't believe myself. At least I get to see him in a few hours. I'm just hoping for the best during the summer. Skype will probably become my best friend. Oh yeah, 6 months on Tuesday <3

Arielle came home with me for Easter, it was pretty awesome :)

This weekend was beautiful. I finally got to wear my new shorts. I love showing of my long legs in my short shorts :) It was great. Arielle and I decided to nap outside on Friday and we both got sunburned. I have a nifty sunburn line on my legs because I was sleeping on my side. It's pretty funny acutally. Alyse came over for the weekend on Friday too. We watched a movie and played a game, and then she got sick (in my bed...ew) then she went home. I was kinda sad cuz I wanted her to experience college life with me. Oh well, there's always next year. A bunch of us went to the Ethnicity Fair at the Wooster Fairgrounds. It was fun, and I got a Canada temporary tattoo. I also spent $11 on fries, lemonade, and cotton candy. Awesome!

I'm so glad baseball season has started. I love the Tribe!

Oh, and AWESOME RAVE LAST NIGHT!!! I danced on a chair. It was AWESOME!

I live for hyper funness

So, last night was our ILP semi-formal. It was pretty awesome. Arielle, Katie, and I did the decoration shopping, and also the decoratING minus Katie. We built an Eiffel Tower out of aluminum foil. It was pretty amazing, not gonna lie. There was nutella, pretty good music, and lots of supa-fun. Not to mention Spiderman was climbing the Eiffel Tower lol.
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 238px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_IubBGorpTxk/Sdkh_cPgMXI/AAAAAAAAAFw/bgaN9xiA3DA/s320/masquerade.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5321321808511644018" />

Also, last week was a trip to the Bohemian with out BW friends again. Gordon was in California, so I went alone. I danced so many times. It was so great!!! And even if Gordon wasn't there, I found a 6'5 dancing partner anyway ;) Old guys danced with us, one liked the smell of my gum? And I had a really sexy blues dance to heartbreak hotel with Nick from BW. It was AWESOME.

So things between me and Katie have patched up. I'm thinking they're almost completely healed. It's great. I'm really happy, and I hope she is too. Gordon and I are just trying to hook up Katie and Ben though....lol we'll see how that goes ;)

Um, Oh! I'm now officially a Communication Sciences and Disorders major! Aka CSD. I also love Wugs! They're a part of a test to see the grammatic production of children, or something like that lol. But they're so cute! I'm gonna get a Wug shirt!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 320px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_IubBGorpTxk/SdkhZUg4gkI/AAAAAAAAAFo/KqEQR87A7Tc/s320/wug2.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5321321153602028098" />

I ordered a pair of cat eye sunglasses, like the stars in the 50's wore. I'm so excited.

I had to paint a superhero for Visual Text, her name is Lucille Viven and she's a super swinger.

Flowerama called me yesterday to try to get an interview in. I told them I won't be home till May. They said they'd call me back. I don't think I'm going to get a call.

I'm going to the Indian's Home Opener this Friday. I'm super excited!

So at Breakfast the other day, I was talking about something CSD, and how babies have sucking pads and their tonguse are forward for optimal feeding. And then I explained how the sucking pads eventually go away, and the tongue moves back so they can start talking. Later I must have said something rude to Joe or something, because he comes back with "I hope your children's tongues never move back". Hahaha

There's probably more, but per usual, I can't remember. Arielle is pretty hyper. We made her get coffee. Not the smartest move, but it's funny :)

Trayless weekend in the cafeteria! It's not too bad.

I'm out girl scout!

My Boyfriend was Snogged!

I'm in the middle of trying to finish a "Hard" sudoku, and I decided I'd take a break to blog.

Today is I.S. Monday. The day when all of the Senior's Independent Study papers have to be in. It's a day full of drinking from 8 am, and partying all day, along with a parade through Kauke Arch. It really was quite eventful, and it was a beautiful day for it as well.
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_IubBGorpTxk/SchFrSqmZtI/AAAAAAAAAFg/Hl4R7HYSxEY/s320/I.S..jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5316575970158077650" />

Speaking of drunks...I was at the parade with Katie, Arielle, Joe, and Gordon amongst others, when our friend Meredith marches past. She's drunk off of her ass, and Gordon reaches out to hug her. She say's "I'm sooooo drunk", and proceeds to kiss him on the cheek. I'm like "whatever"....and then again "I'm sooo drunk". This time, full on the lips...I was like "oooookay then..." My jealousy has come back, not that I was jealous, because she was drunk, I saw it coming. I'm just miffed, that's all. Gosh!

But anyway, I'm completely all cuddly lately and I don't know why. I like it, don't get me wrong, but it makes me miss him more when he's not here. He's going home this weekend anyway. I better prepare...lol

Spring Break was awesome. We hung, watched movies, shopped, visited people. It was nice.

We have to fill out housing forms and such for next year. I'm getting pretty darn excited. The only thing is, Katie has been snappy with me a whole lot lately. It makes me really sad, and I think it makes Arielle uncomfortable. I just want us to be happy, and I kind of understand why she's snappy, but I just wish it would all go away.

Only 6 more weeks left of school :( I'm super sad.

I like lists....like, I really do

So, tomorrow is the end of Week One of Spring Break '09. So far, I have not been half as bored as Christmas break. I've done some syntax quizzes for my language development class, and I've caught up on this season of "The Secret Life of the American Teenager". Now all that's left are two more syntax quizzes, and a set design for "Antigone's Red", which I'm not completely looking forward to.

Well, on the downer side, my best friend and boyfriend are in Florida. Not only did they go to Floriday, they went to my favorite state (South Carolina), and I'm kinda jealous. They get beautiful weather and sun. I get rain, cold and today it snowed (but it didn't stick, thank God). But they're coming back on Sunday. I'm very excited :) Maybe I'll throw a party...yeah right. I'm pretty sure I'm only gonna be really watching movies with Katie and Gordon lol. Gordon and I are having a date day, probably Monday or Tuesday, and then we're GOING SHOPPING! Yay!

On the up side, I went by Stage Crew on Wednesday to say hi. It was nice. Everyone missed me, and I got to feel all special. Alex Mamone was also there which was pretty cool. Also, I'm hanging out with Ryan and Nick, my two favorite Parma boys tomorrow. It shall be awesome. My sister, Kelley, and Carrie went to the Plain White T's concert tonight. I didn't really feel like going, so I ate dinner and hung with my mom and Aunt Chris. It was cool I guess, but whatever. Apparently, according to Little Randy, they don't have tornado drills in preschool, and for "fire drills" you go into the girls bathroom, and for "fire alarms" you go outside. His mind just amazes me.
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 320px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_IubBGorpTxk/SbnROjKWGFI/AAAAAAAAAFY/4xqrFGX9S_g/s320/fire+drill.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5312507283347216466" />

I've realized I'm kind of jealous of the "Zeuli eyes" trait that I sadly did not pick up. They're usually green-ish with great eye-lashes. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad my eyes are blue, but it would be nice to have my family reminisce over my traits as well. I just don't fit in, but whatever. I'm blonde, blue-eyed, and pale. I'm the epitome of gorgeous in the 19th century lol.

We The Kings is coming back to town in late April. I'm still deciding if I want to go because they're going to have Nevershoutnever! with them. I really like him. Oh well.

Indians Home Opener soon!!!!!! And my hyacinth is blooming! Yay!!!

So, I like making lists, and someone I know from school made one about Wooster and why she does and doesn't want to go back, I'd make one, but I could only really think of reasons why I DO want to go back.

I missed Bones tonight :(

I feel like belting (singing that is)

It's been quite a while since I've blogged, and Katie complained so here's to you!

This weekend was Wooster's "Gala" which is a semi-formal dance, if you didn't know. We all dressed up and we looked really good. The live band was a swing band! So that just made it awesome. There was a chocolate fountain and they had pound cake to go with it. Let's just say I probably packed on the pounds there. I wore my three inch heels, which killed my feet, I could barely walk on the way home. I must say Gala was one of the most fun things I've gone to at Wooster. I swing danced with some of my closest friends, and I just absolutely loved it.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_IubBGorpTxk/Sa1SJVkvkZI/AAAAAAAAAFI/mTAHKy5NpDc/s320/GEDC2376.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5308989856103240082" />

I've been having an overload on coffee and muffins. I haven't been equalizing it with working out, sooooooo...I need to stop. I'm limiting myself to two coffee's a week, and maybe two muffins. Plus, I need to work out more. Possibly every Tuesday and Thursday when I'm watching The Price is Right. I'm definitely working out like every day over spring break. Haha.

Speaking of spring break, Katie and Gordon are going on a fun little trip to Florida with the band. JEALOUS! But they're mouths are going to hurt from playing all the time, so ha! But the second week, they're coming home. So we're gonna watch movies galore and go shopping! I'm pretty excited :)

I have to have 25 shop hours for visual text. This is going to be pretty difficult. I never really have that much free time. Well, I kind of do, but it's hard to put it around crew hours. I really need to start going though. Oh crap, I have research to do for that class, I better get on that. I also have a test in Language Disorders in children. Hopefully I do well. I did well on the Language Deveolpment one, so I should be fine. I had to transcribe a little girl for language development, she was totally cute. I'm pretty much done with HUGE projects for right now (Yay!).

So the Beta's are a bunch of douchebags minus two. They "like HAVE to sit at this one table in the cafeteria" or they cry about it. They call us retarded and dumb for not realizing that it's THEIR table. All I can do is laugh and sit there for much longer than I really need to, because last time I checked, I wasn't in high school anymore. I'm going to kick their faces in :) I drew a picture of Me, Katie, and Arielle beating them up. It's pretty hilarious.

I can't really think of much else to write. Katie got her hair cut! It's all short like.

I want it to be warm already! I'm sick of 12 degree weather.

I really feel like reading.

I need to figure out what to bring home with me!

Time to work out now, Price is right is on!

I'm trying to remember....

I can't quite recall everything that has happened since I last blogged. I'll try though.

So, Valentines day was nice. I got Gordon a cute teddy bear, and he sang/played me a song :) It was a nice little cuddly holiday and I was smitten. I enjoyed it mucho. In the mail I got a valentine from my parents, and my grandparents, and I think that was it. I also got a package from my parents that had parts for my Catwoman outfit for the superhero party that may or may not happen, amongst other things. Speaking of things in the mail, I mentioned in one of my "25 things" that I'm becoming more and more obsessed with, that I wanted to get a poster of the Edward Hopper painting "Nighthawks". Well Marshall saw this and decided to send me one. I was so blown away when I got it, I hadn't even fathomed that that was what he would send me. I called him right away. My mood was so good that day.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 174px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_IubBGorpTxk/Sa1Qg2WRCZI/AAAAAAAAAFA/EOmhPX56Q50/s320/nighthawks.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5308988061014624658" />

So I guess my Dad really misses me. I usually call my Mom while she's at work, I guess it's because it's more convenient. But yah, I never used to really talk to him anyway, but I guess I should even it out more. I shall try.

Oh! More poster news. So I got the Edward Hopper one, so I decided to buy a poster of the Sailor kissing the Nurse. My part of our room next year is gonna be so old school. It's going to rock hard. I'm so excited for our triple.

I found this amazing site called Fmylife.com where people post little stories about the crappy things that happen to them in life. It's pretty hilarious.

I called Dell and they fixed my scroll thing :)

What else...Meredith's IS went really well. That's one more thing for Gordon to check off of his list. Now all that's left is Romeo and Juliet this weekend.

I've been re-reading The Great Gatsby. It's pretty good. And of course, watching House and Bones. Yay!

Katie, Arielle, and I volunteered to be on the decorations committee for the ILP dance. I think it will be mucho fun.

I really wish I had more to write about. I'll probably think of more later.

Eric and Scotty are coming to visit me this weekend! (I think). HAPPY DAY!

Stupid pictuers won't load... :( And none of my other ones will show up...stupid Blogger!

Thoroughly annoyed doesn't even begin to cover it

Ok, so this morning I get this e-mail from the President of the College saying something along the lines of "Hey, the economy sucks...we're gonna raise tuition :)" So now, from a horrid $42,000 we must now pay a life-changing $43,900. That's an extra $1900 if you havne't already figured that out. They better give me so much more money in aid. I'm so annoyed. I'm just having money problems galore. Today, the dryer decided it wanted to take an extra 75 cents from me...greeeeat. And also, I find out that I may have to pay extra taxes for recieving Federal Student Aid. That's not income! It's aid...I'm so annoyed. I almost broke down today. I never used to fret about money. I think it's all starting to change.

I'm going to try to fandangle my way into an extra 2-3 hours a week at work. I really need the hours, and I would love to have them. Otherwise, I might just try for another job.

Oh yah, did I mention I'm completely happy in my relationsip? Yeah...it's like that :)

On Saturday, Gordon got me to join their Lord of the Rings extended edition trilogy take over your life party. I pretty much only watched the first one, then did homework and slept. Plus I was (and still am) sick, so it's ok to sleep.

I've decided I'm going to major in Communication Sciences and Disorders. I like the classes, and I've just finished transcribing a language sample. It's all good and I really like it.

We watched Beauty and the Beast and Muppet Treasure Island the other night, and I believe we're going to watch The Pagemaster on Wednesday. Yay! And Obama got in the way of House last night. I was, yet again, thorougly annoyed.

We went and saw a comedian last night. His name is KT Tatara, and I think he looks like a chick in pictures. He's damn hilarious though :)
<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 170px; height: 226px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_IubBGorpTxk/SZGsaKFOGNI/AAAAAAAAAEY/gcK6MGcntJA/s320/KT.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5301207801774610642" />

Ok, that's all of my boring life today I think. But, actually, I feel like writing. Anything. A story, a poem, a letter. After I'm done with this blog, that's exactly what I'm going to do. It will probably be in the form of a letter or something.

Today was a pretty boring, run of the mill day. I woke up, and realized I had a cough and kind of sore throat (thanks b/f ;p). Then, I got mad at my face, because I'm breaking out, again. I really need to stick to the stupid washy facy regimen thing. Annoying! So yesterday, I found out my FYS advisor had never signed and sent in my add/drop form by the date, so they were gonna try to charge me a $100 late fee. I am so not cool with that. But lucky me, my Communications teacher is buddy buddy with the registrar, so it's all taken care of. But yah, I turned that in today. I had a spicy chicken sandwich for lunch, and I'm kind of craving one right now. What else......um, I didn't do much at work. And I spent about an hour with Gordon today. I'm really starting to miss him, but I guess time away is a good "growing" kind of thing...ish?

So, whilst not doing much at work, I realized I wanted to read more of people's "25 Things" notes on Facebook. They're actually really interesting, and when people write good things, you learn a lot about them. I personally like putting myself out there for people to learn about me (hence, blog). I've probably read about 50 of them today.

Katie has been seeming a bit down this week. It really sucks, because I try to open her eyes to the carefree, yet responsible, happy lifestyle I lead, and it just doesn't seem to work for her. She feels like she does badly in classes, and also feels left out in the relationship part of life? I just hope she gets happier. I hate seeing her like this.

Arielle and I designed our triple (Me Katie and Arielle) for next year. There is going to be a gypsy tent, and as much room as possible. It will rock. We are EXCITED!

My night has been boring. I tried to work out, got like 60 crunches out of it. I read more "25 things" notes, and I watched the Real World. Go me...wooo...!

I swear I had something else to write about, but I guess not. We've been re-living our childhood and listening to 90's, early millenium music. It's great.

Adios, dear friends

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 170px; height: 55px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_IubBGorpTxk/SYpqAsQ4QPI/AAAAAAAAAEQ/7rp68KHNBGY/s320/your.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5299164471669309682" />

Jealousy ensues

Saturday was the swing lesson and dance in Cleveland with the BW kids. It was pretty darn fun. I dressed up all cute like and it was all around awesome. Although, we were in East Cleveland, kind of scary. After we left, there was a drug deal or something going on, and the guys looked at us and were like "Dressed up for the niiiiiiight.....you look like a new pen-naaaaaaay." It was HILARIOUS and SCARY at the same time. Also, we got lost on the way home, and missed an exit, so we ended up somewhere in Canton? But we found a highway patrol station and made it home by 1:30. Oh yah, Gordon got hit on by a couple of girls our age, they were trying to hook him up. And he also got hit on by a 50 year old drunk woman. I also danced with a drunk guy who wanted "to spin". Exciting people, exciting night.

Katie's parents came into town for the band concert and for Mrs. Kowicki's birthday. The weather was so nice, and I had a steak at dinner. It was DELICIOUS. I loved that day.

Tonight we had our House party, and then our International meeting. It was great because Itai Njanji from Zimbabwe talked to us. He has the greatest speaking voice.....*sigh* And he loves speaking in quotes and proverbs. It's lovely.

So, I never used to be the jealous type with boyfriends, but lately I've noticed I've become quite the jealous lady. More than once this week I've been overcome with jealousy. It's not like rage jealousy, it's the kind that kind of makes me blue. I guess that's saying something about how much I really like Gordon, but I could have told you that.

Other than that, my weekend went by pretty fast....it was not cool.

P.S. I got Gordon something for Valentines Day. I'm very happy with it :)

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_IubBGorpTxk/SYfD9gvRWsI/AAAAAAAAAEI/q8UskYQwkc0/s320/haha.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5298418948152318658" />

Knots and Zippers suck

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_IubBGorpTxk/SYIkUGJMDKI/AAAAAAAAAEA/akRH9x3mH3w/s320/GEDC2330.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5296836039406259362" />
So yesterday it snowed a helluva lot, like 8 inches? So we decided to carry on tradition and fill the arch. The snow was bad for packing so it didn't touch the top of the arch, but we did pretty well I'd have to say. There's a little American Flag on the top, it's cute. They gave us hot chocolate, and donuts, and we used our recycling bins and huge hall trash cans. It was super fun, and I talked to some people that I never really would have talked to. It was great.

Also in the news, I had my first web chat with my sister/family the other night. It went pretty well after they finally figured out what the hell they were doing lol. But overall, it went well.

Gordon has been pretty stressed this past week. He puts too much on his plate and has no Gordon time. It's really sad to see him like this. He's got two play practices, classes, volunteering, swing, band, and other things. I just hope everything works out for him. I'm gonna send him pick me ups I think. I'm also going to try to do something very sweet for him for Valentine's Day. I just have no clue what to do, I'm at a loss for ideas.

So last night, we were in Mom's, and my zipper on my Abercrombie hoodie got all wacky and uneven and it sucked. It got stuck and I wasn't able to get it fixed until like 20 minutes ago. I was so annoyed with it. And along with that, I keep getting this major knot in my hair at the nape of my neck. That's the worst place to have a knot. It SUCKS!!!

I'm really liking Communication Sciences and Disorders.....I think I shall major in it. Task complete :) No more stressing.

I think that's all. Bones is on tonight! I love having our parties for TV shows! They're the greatest. Oh, and we're going Swing Dancing in Cleveland on Saturday. I'm gonna dress up and look super duper cute :)

Ice skates make me taller

So my schedule is now official. I got into the Language Development class that I needed for the CSD major, so I've dropped the dreaded Logic!! Now my lunch is at 11 but whatever. Now I'm deciding if I want to keep my meal plan, or change it to get more flex dollars. I'm so unsure, and that's pretty much the only thing I'm unsure about.

Last Wednesday, Gordon told me to dress really warm because we were gonna have a picnic. Mind you, this was one of the days that it was like -13 degrees outside. I thought he was crazy. So I dressed warm, and went to his house. Instead of going outside, he set up a one of his sheets (plaid and green) on the floor and had little tea lite candles everywhere. It was the cutest thing I've ever seen. We watched "Love Actually", which I had never seen before and thought it was alright, and he made me a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I asked him why he did it on that particular Wednesday, and he said just because he missed me. I was and still am quite smitten. Now I'm just wondering what he's gonna do this Wednesday (our 3 month) because he asked for my entire schedule......scaaaaaaary....

At work, I'm left with about 5 hours a week. I'm hoping to pick up some random ones, and I'm working the ice skating table an extra two hours twice this week. Yes! There's ice skating at Wooster! They've turned the back patio into a little rink. It's really cute. We all went last night, and it was super fun, until my camera died, I only took like three pictures. We'll have to go again. The rink is kind of bumpy and isn't completely frozen, but it works. I was about face to face with Gordon in my skates, it was pretty awesome. He said I should wear heels more often. I'm so up for that, I'm just trying to find a new pair. He and I need some pictures together, we need to work on that.

Kelley came out on Friday night. I felt bad because there wasn't really anything to do. We went to the showing of The Dark Knight, and then we went to my room and played Phase 10. Joe won after complaining that he hates that game. Then Saturday, we convince Sebastian to drive down to Wooster, which isn't far from his native Medina. I was so excited, it's been over a year since I've seen him. It was really nice. Hopefully he'll stop by again! It was a good weekend.

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 266px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_IubBGorpTxk/SXT7Tyzi1vI/AAAAAAAAADw/Bx44yhpf3EM/s320/katie.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5293131779541227250" />

I feel like doing something tonight. And I need to call my mom, I haven't in a while. Hmm....yah, we'll see whats up.

I think that's it.

Logic scares me.....

<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 163px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_IubBGorpTxk/SWzmuLaa3ZI/AAAAAAAAADo/PrBFSt7ldQY/s320/tundra.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5290857343265463698" />
I'm back at Wooooo!!! But, my heat is not working, so when I got to my room, the temperature was pretty much colder than it was outside. All three of us were wearing hats, and gloves, and I was contemplating sleeping in my winter jacket. So going against the rules, we went out and bought a lovely little space heater. It's all cute and after only a day it heated up the room pretty well! This creepy guy keeps coming in and fiddling with the heater, but I don't think it's doing anything. Oh well, my space heater works for now. The picture is what my room would be like without my space heater.

So, I got here around 12, unpacked, went to lunch, blah de blah. And I went to swing dancing that night. It was mucho fun. I danced with Katie, and then finally Gordon got there. How I've missed him so. It was a nice time. I learned some moves that hopefully I can remember so Katie and I can finally dance!

I started my classes yesterday. First I have Spanish again, same teacher, different classroom (this one sucks). It should be fun. Second I have The Visual Text, which is kind of like a stage crew class aka awesome! I get to do running crew and all kinds of fun stuff. Third is Logic and Philosophy. This one scares the crap out of me. I didn't realize it was going to be so hard. It's like math, but not. And I'm bad at math....I'm just really scared that I'm going to do horribly. Oh well, keep my hopes up. Then today, I have one more class in about a half hour, Language Disorders in Children. I think it should be pretty interesting, but I don't get out of it till 4. Gordon's gonna come pick me up and I think we're gonna get some food. Shnazzy.

Oh yah! I put up my Lucy poster and my LiveLavaLive poster! I'm excited. My room flippin rocks. I also blew up my workout ball today. I'm excited for this new semester minus Logic. And my swipe card has been being retarded...I need a new one. They cut my hours at work from abou 7.5 hours, to 5.5 hours. I'm thoroughly annoyed, but whatever.

Ok, I'm done for now. More later!

2009- Hope it's fine

Woo 2009!!! Started it off with a party with only my closest friends. Katie, Paulette, Marshall, Jason, Chuck, Nico, Cory, and Jane. It was very fun, we watched "The Dark Knight" and then we watched the ball drop, and then finished the movie. It was very enjoyable and I'm glad I got to see everyone. Hope everything else this year goes as well as that night did. I called Gordon and it was funny because he was like "Oh yah, it's already new years there...you sound a little drunk..." lol it was funny. And since Gordon was all the way in California, Katie was my New Years Kiss. But yah, fun night.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_IubBGorpTxk/SV6bS96lY1I/AAAAAAAAADg/7SL4oYKG1aw/s320/GEDC2304.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5286833762739774290" />

Christmas was good. I got an iPod nano, it's blue. I also got guitar hero, a work out ball, and an I Love Lucy poster amongst other things. Christmas eve was funny because little three year old Ryan has trouble saying his "K's" so he ran into my room, intending to say he saw my kitty...but it came out "Tatie!! I saw your titty!!" He just kept saying it over and over again. Alyse, Kell, and I were busting out laughing, it was great. Also, Kell volunteered to be Santa Claus, and Ryan realized it was Kell so he refused to take his Christmas present. It was hilarious.

I had my first speeding ticket...ugh "78" in a 60. That cost me $149. Yeeeeee. Oh well, I do not intend on getting another one. I'm gonna be looking online at Mazda 3's and 6's to see how much money I need to save up to get one. I'm looking at getting one either this summer or next summer, depends.

I've also started using Crest Whitestrips, they seem to be working...ish...I just need to keep doing it, and then hopefully they'll be gorgeous!

Hm, so that's about it. End of my 2008 story, now for the fun of 2009. I'm really looking forward to it, and all the money to come (Minimum wage raise!) woot! I just want to shop! lol

I'm too emo to think up a good title

Well, tomorrow, rather today, is Christmas Eve. I'm excited that my family gets to come over, but I'm completely and utterly annoyed with my immediate family. They keep fighting (mostly it's Alyse) and it really wears me down. I hate the fighting, and I always have to just listen to it. I like to try to resolve it, but no one listens to me. I just feel like getting in the car and driving for hours, but of course I'd get yelled at for that. I'm also the only one that does housework while my parents are at work, but whatever. It's getting old, and I just want to go back to Wooster where there is NO fighting at all.

I've talked to Gordon pretty much every day since I've been home. He called me on our anniversary (2 months!), and he liked my present :) It just sucks that he's three time zones back, because I have to stay up late to be able to talk to him. It gets wearisome, but it's worth it in the end. I miss him so much and really just need the hug of a lifetime right now with all thats going on.

My computer keeps jumping sentences, I don't get it. It will jump back to the sentence before it and just start typing what I was typing there. It's really odd, and annoying as hell.

From the looks of it, I'm not gonna have a white Christmas, and that really brings me down. So I guess my break is going to be as depressing as it will get. I know I'll be able to see most of my friends, but there are others that I won't see. Andrew keeps calling me tonight, because he's drunk and he wants me to drive him to the gas station. Yah, no thanks buddy...

I'm pretty emo right now and I need a smile like no other. I just want everything to be nice and smooth for the rest of my break. That's really all I want. I'm sick of the boredom, and the fighting. I want to go back.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_IubBGorpTxk/SVHPFy-P8xI/AAAAAAAAADY/9u7fyIOctMY/s320/scary.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5283231536371462930" />

Three time zones away seems like forever...

I'm home for a month! Ahhhh!!! It's going to be the longest month of my life. I sit at home, while everyone else is at school or work, no car, nothing to do. So I lay around, and do NOTHING! And the worst thing, Gordon is three time zones away. I've talked to him pretty much every day, either on Facebook or on the phone, and he flatters me more than ever. I just miss him like crazy. I sent him a Christmas present though, and he's gonna love it! I'm excited lol.
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_IubBGorpTxk/SUlsQ0oU3UI/AAAAAAAAADI/2xfF7M45Owg/s320/gordy.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5280871074330107202" />

I miss him :(

I went to stage crew on Monday night, they would have been lost without me and Katie, that's all I have to say.

So, my sister's birthday party was last Saturday. All of my cousins were there, along with Katie, Sarah, and one of Carmen's friends. Kelley and Carrie were supposed to sleep over, but Carrie decided she didn't want to. Now, my mom said Carrie's mom called and is worried about the fact that Carrie didn't sleep over, like were we offended. She said that Carrie says that Me, Alyse, and Kelley are mean to her. I know for sure that Kelley is, but me and Alyse have never been mean to Carrie. We hate when the two of them fight, so much. But anyway, I guess Carrie, Domenic, and Carmen have created a little thing against me, Alyse, and Kelley. I have no idea when this all came about. I wish we could all just go back to how we were. Close and no fighting, yah there was fighting, but we were kids. This shouldn't be like this. We're all growing up, we shouldn't be immature about this. It's really taking a toll on me, because I was so proud of how close we all were. I can't take this...I really can't....

I have a movie to pick up at the library. It's a classic comedy called "The Lady Eve". It'll give me something to do on these days home alone. I'm excited

I need to finish Christmas shopping....gah!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 254px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_IubBGorpTxk/SUluefK9NdI/AAAAAAAAADQ/haxMgarxplo/s320/christmas+rush.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5280873508111201746" />

I don't have emo bangs

Well, my finals are over and I'm going home tomorrow night. I'm gonna miss Wooster and my friends, but I'm excited to see my friends and my cousins. I think I'm just gonna spend tonight with Gordon, maybe watch a movie, cuddle, cute stuff. This break is gonna be too long. I know I'm gonna miss him like crazy, and I'm gonna complain about it in my blog, but I need to get over it. Those are the downs of a long-distance college relationship, but I'm pretty sure we'll make it through a month lol. Anywho, I know no one likes reading about relationships. My last final was today (psychology). My professor gave us M&M's to help us do better. I think it worked?? My spanish professor gave us gum yesterday to help us do better, didn't work as well. But those were my two finals, I studied all day for both of them in Old Main Cafe (loved it) and Kauke (didn't quite love it). And then I walked to go get Chinese food (paid $20 for sucky food, probably not gonna get paid back). Wow, my english is doing horribly tonight. That really sucks because I have two papers to finish off tonight and tomorrow.

I really felt like singing out loud in Kauke today, but I couldn't since there were people studying. I'm tired, but I don't feel like sleeping, I think...

I never realized how hard it is to write an opinion paper on marriage. It really is no fun, but it got me back into a lovely play "The Importance of Being Earnest". I want to read it again. It's pretty hilarious. Oh, and the poster company for my LiveLavaLive didn't charge me three times, they dropped the other two, so it's all good :) My dry erase board is still annoying the crap outta me. I took it off the wall to put duct tape on the back, and a chunk of wall ripped out with it! It's dinky adhesive stuff, but it still ripped wall off. Grr, now I'll have to pay for it.

I have so much to write about, but I don't feel like putting it in here, since I never know who reads this. I'll write more later.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 266px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_IubBGorpTxk/SUB5ARrkXCI/AAAAAAAAADA/v389cQN0074/s320/emobangs.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5278351808931322914" />

Katie- 1 Motivation-0

I have four papers due next Thursday. My motivation is absolute zero, though I did get one finished (it sucks but oh well). Finals week is coming up, I need to study like hell for my Spanish and Psychology exams. I realized I haven't blogged in too long, so I decided to do something more productive with my time :)

I had Thanksgiving break a week ago. It wasn't too bad, but I couldn't wait to get back to Wooster. It was funny because Gordon didn't get a shuttle ticket to the airport, so he got to go hang out with my Papa at my house so my dad could take him to the airport. I got a good laugh out of it. So what did I do over my break? Absolutely nothing. I went to the dentist. I went to my Uncles house for Thanksgiving, where I watched "I Love Lucy" of course, and then "Home Alone". Then, on Friday, I went to a cabin with my cousins, which was pretty cool. Not gonna complain.
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_IubBGorpTxk/SThmnHwAB3I/AAAAAAAAACo/FUwSONj2USA/s320/cousin.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5276079785745844082" />

But Sunday couldn't come any faster. We picked up Gordon and Paul at the airport, and Gordon couldn't stop hugging me. I was so smitten at that moment in time :) Anywho....we got back and watched Tomb Raider 2. Everyone left and I suddenly got nauseas and faint. Not cool. But yah.

I'm listening to more oldies tonight, but I also made a Christmas song playlist. I'm pumped to make puppy chow this weekend :) And Gordon is teaching Lindy Hop at swing this Friday. I really can't think of what else went on. If I remember, I'll be sure to let you know.

My dry erase board looks like it's about to fall off of my wall...it's annoying the bajeezus out of me. Oh! I ordered a LiveLavaLive poster online (they charged me three times! I need to fix it) I'm so excited :)

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_IubBGorpTxk/SThnEEz7mnI/AAAAAAAAACw/dY6hQfscVxc/s320/livelavalive.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5276080283173231218" />

Hepcat Revivals...Best Friends or Rivals

So Friday was Gordon and my one month anniversary (yee!) and Thursday night he surprised me with Tickets to the midnight showing of Twilight (it was ok). Now, mind you, Katie and I were going to go see it together. I knew she'd get mad at me if I told her I was going with Gordon, so I figured I'd keep it to myself. Well, she found out anyway from a friend of ours who was also there. She called me and got quite mad. She didn't talk to me for a whole day, and it was the most depressing day of my life. I realized how much we need each other and that no matter what I need to always tell her the truth. I love her very much and never want to be in that situation ever again. Other than that, I'm very happy with Gordon and hope to celebrate many more anniversaries <3

Last night was a Hepcat Revival Swing Dance at Baldwin-Wallace University. It was AWESOME!!! There were so many fun people there and I absolutely loved it. I really feel like I'm getting better at it. I love it. I also got the jist of how to do Lindy Hop. I'm excited to practice it more. Now I need to figure out how to do this one thing Gordon likes to do that I can't. Haha. Near the end, there was an uuuuber slow dance and Gordon danced with me and I loved it :) There was this latin guy there who only did Lindy (why he was at east coast swing was beyond me) and he was totally cocky and I'm so glad I didn't get the chance to dance with him. Gordon dubbed him Antonia Iglesias. The main swing dance guy from B-Dubs' name was Nick, and he was completely hilarious. He's the one who taught us to Lindy, and he had so much energy and made the best faces ever. He was great. I love Swing Dance, and I love Lucy. I kind of feel like I was born in the wrong era...Film noir, swing dance, and black and white tv are for me!
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 287px; height: 320px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_IubBGorpTxk/SSmVa5mXwNI/AAAAAAAAACg/zoqd56cP-As/s320/lindy+hop.gif" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5271909128184774866" />

I moved my part of the room around, I now have a tv nook under my bed. I absolutely love it. The classes that I'm officially signed up for are Spanish 102, The visual text, Logic and Philosophy, and Language Disorders in children. Now, I'm trying to get into Language Development in children, but I don't know if that will happen. If it doesn't, my classes will go from 9-11:50 on Monday Wednesday Friday, and 2:30-3:50 on Tuesday and Thursday. With this schedule I'll be able to keep my job schedule as well. The stupid professor won't e-mail me back about Language development, and thats the class I REALLY need for my intended major. Geez.

I need to go write an outline for my presentation in FYS. It's called "Early 20th century women, As seen in Titanic". I'm pumped. Plus I'm gonna watch Titanic today with Gordon, Katie, and Ben. Yay!

Peace out girl scout <3

There are three forks...what the hell?

So this weekend was our last game of the season. It was freezing, raining, and muddy. Miserable, yet fun :) We only had to wear our uniforms from the waist down, along with raincoats, which was cool. We beat Wittenburg, the asshole team from somewhere ("If you can't go to Wooster go to Witt *clap clap*"). It was AWESOME! Tonight was the band banquet. Gordon and I matched :) lol We're cute. Anyway, there were quite some hilarities at this banquet, and I couldn't explain because they're the "you had to be there" type of hilarities. But the event was all formal like, we dressed up, we had three forks, we ate with our napkins on our laps. My mother would be so proud.

Lately I've been feeling down in the dumps, I'm not sure why. Maybe it's because we're learning about depression in psych, or perhaps since I've just uploaded Evanescence music to my computer. But every little thing gets me fretting, or depressed, it's so not me. Like, I'll see one situation, and I'll think worse of it, I'll assume, and doubt things. My friends kind of help me with it. Kaitlynn keeps me in line, most of the time. Katie settled me down a bit today too. I just feel like I'm not up to par with what people want/expect from me. I haven't always been quite the people pleaser, but I can sure try.

I think there was something else I was going to write about, like something that went on this weekend. The awesome rave I was so excited about was shut down by dumb security. Then it started back up again but I was already do gone. I was quite unhappy. There's probably more. I just can't think of it right now. I'll write more later. For now it's off to Gordons for some mid-movie entrance.

Two things you should never bring up in conversation...

Politics and Religion. Politics is over, so that leaves religion, and it came up yesterday when I was talking to Gordon. I'm very hesitant to talk about religion, because I'm not sure what I believe in, if anything at all. I'm afraid people who are really into their religions will think less of me if I even try to explain myself. And thats the thing, I don't know how to explain it. I was raised Catholic, and I'm not going to say I don't believe in it's teachings, but I'm very indecisive, science has gotten the best of me. I don't think that I should be going to Church wasting pew space if I'm not going to pay attention. It's not that I dread going to church, I just don't think it will do anything for me. Sure it builds character, brings a person closer to personal happiness or whatever. Spritual stuff really isn't for me. Don't get me wrong, if you want me to go to church with you, I'm willing. I'm not against religion, I'm not athiest, I just don't have an affiliaton or specific belief. I don't even know if I believe in God (leaning towards no). I got in a fight with my Mom about it over the weekend, and its the thing I hate most to get into fights about. I'm 18 now, I can choose my "path of religion", and at this point in my life, it doesn't include going to church. It's just really eating at me on the inside because, like I said, I feel like people are going to judge me. Please don't....

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_IubBGorpTxk/SRohFJmBvRI/AAAAAAAAAB4/Jj4szXLoTCQ/s320/church.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5267559086521695506" />

On a happier note, there was a "Study Abroad" fair today. I'm really thinking about doing it junior year. Everyone who's done it absolutely loved it. The only thing is the part about being so far away for such a long time. Leaving family, friends, loved ones in general, its hard. But I'd really like to do it. I'd like to go to a Spanish speaking country, or Italy. Italy would be lovely, and with one of the programs you don't have to know how to speak Italian! Spanish is fun too.....I'm thinking about minoring in it. Hey, why not?
<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_IubBGorpTxk/SRohGY8ZCpI/AAAAAAAAACY/K3paPukr9Eg/s320/venice.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5267559107821898386" />
Venice, Italy

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 239px; height: 320px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_IubBGorpTxk/SRohF3gxK3I/AAAAAAAAACQ/Jrd9pHoUQD8/s320/spain.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5267559098847669106" />
Granda, Spain

It's cold here. My hands were the coldest they've ever been today at band. I'm not the warmest. I want my human space heater. House is on tonight! I already want to go back to Wooster. It's not that I dont' like it here, but I miss everyone and just my life. Not to mention that I missed Gordon the first hour that I was gone (wow I'm pathetic, and I admitted it). Though it was nice getting to see two of my very dear friends. One has this urge to kiss me but is holding back because of my boyfriend, I feel bad. I love him dearly, but I do have a boyfriend lol. I also got to see much of my extended family today at my Papa's retirement/birthday party. This is definitely a sign of my getting older. The only thing I didn't enjoy was my jerky little cousin telling me to get a nose job...thanks kid...

That leads into my next thing, my body image. I was doing very well, almost better than most teenage girls, with my body image. But lately I feel like the stress of college and the unlimited amount of soda and M&M's is getting to me. I've been breaking out a lot lately, and I feel like I'm getting flabby. I know it doesn't really look it with clothes on and such, but just in the mirror, or in the shower, it's kinda hard to put up with. I keep telling myself to go exercise, or stop eating dessert or soda. It's hard to do, and I wish I had more self-control on that level. But I just need to start working out again, then I'll be a bit happier with myself...or so I think. Though, the one thing I'm always happy with, my hair, got some good boost. I entered myself into the Best Tressed in America contest sponsored by Seventeen Magazine. We'll see how that goes. Here's my entry pic:

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_IubBGorpTxk/SRZ_uVzScAI/AAAAAAAAABI/q6PxFVZpkMo/s320/hair.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5266537248359346178" />
My smile is pretty shitty and I dont' know why....it just does that sometimes.

I went shopping today, and bought a really cute shirt. I also found some awesome posters that I would love to buy to put in my dorm, but I dont' have that kind of money. Why do posters cost so much? And Nick tripped me in the parking lot...he didn't think I'd go down, but I did. My hands were hurting for quite a while.

Well, I've got a psychology paper to do because I don't want to do it this week. I have to do that tomorrow, and go to church I guess. I just want to see Gordon. I'm pathetic, I already miss my boyfriend of nearly three weeks like crazy...I'll call it a sign. Whatever, just get me back to Wooster!

We the Kings, The Academy Is...., and Gays?

Election night was so exciting. I went over to Gordon's with Katie and Ben amongst others, and we just had an all out fun time. In the end, when Obama was the winner, our friends were tearing up, and so was Oprah! I think it was one of the greatest moments in the history of my generation. I mean, this is the start of something new for us, and it really says something about us, especially all of us that voted for the first time ever, it really was the perfect year to be a first time voter. I feel bad for my friend Ian because he's still 17 and couldn't vote. But anyway, Obama's speech was completely amazing, and I do feel bad that his grandmother couldn't live to see him win the presidency. Michelle Obama seems like the Jackie Kennedy of today, she's just got that thing. I must say that John McCain made a very nice recession speech, and that I'm disappointed in his audience when they booed at the name of Barak Obama. It was very disrespectful and immature. My jaw dropped when they did that and I still can't get over it.

I had to write a paper this week for my Women's Gender and Sexuality Studies class. It was on my opinion on gay marriage, and I think I got my point through very well. I'm completely for gay marriage, and even though I know that Barak Obama is against it, I hope that one day soon we can change that. My heart broke when Proposition 8 passed in California. They were really taking a leading step in moving this country forward, and now they're just moving backward again. I may just add my essay on this blog one day, I'm not sure yet.

Halloween passed last weekend. How awesome it was. I went to one of the parties as a Puppet, Gordon was a Panda, Katie was Tinkerbell (of course), and Kaitlynn was a Druggie...haha, it was great. We had mucho fun and sadly had to witness people having sex against the wall....ugh how disgusting.

Last night (Wednesday), Katie and I drove back up to Parma to go to the "Bill and Trav's Bogus Journey Tour". It was AMAZING. It was Hey Monday and Carolina Liar with We the Kings <3 and The Academy Is... <3 It was probably the best show I've seen yet, and I wouldn't mind seeing either or both bands again. William Beckett is gorgeous! Just saying...

And right now as we speak, Arielle is rocking out to Stacy's Mom by Fountains of Wayne, and I'm kind of enjoying it. I'm watching Airplane with Miller Manor, Katie, and my boy tonight, I'm pumped.

Shout out to Phil and Joe!

Overview of the first two months

I was sitting here at my desk earlier today reading my cousin's wife's blog. I realized how much I'd like to write one, and thats how TK at Woo was born. Ha:

So today is election day (Go Obama!), and it's about 68 degrees out. I'm loving every minute of it! I have a five page paper due tomorrow for Womens Gender and Sexuality Studies, and I've got about one and a half pages done. I tried to take my work outside with me, but I just get too distracted with everything that's not going on. The sun is shining, there are people out playing frisbee, it's just too distracting for me to write a paper. So in the end, I have to condemn myself to my room to try to get this stupid paper written. It kind of fits with election day though since it's on my opinions of gay rights (Pro-Gay!). Methinks I'll take an extra day on it, perhaps, but who knows.

Well, here's the description of my life as it were starting with the people: I have two awesome roommates, Arielle and Julia. The roommate compatibility test worked out so well for us, I don't quite understand. My best friend Katie is here at Wooster with me, and it's made the transition so much easier for the both of us. I've made many new friends including Kaitlynn, John, and my boyfriend Gordon. Everything is working out so well. Kaitlynn is becoming one of my best friends (never to get in the way of Katie of course). We have such an effect on each other, it's hilarious. Whenever we're near each other we get hyper. The three of us (Katie, Kaitlynn, and me) may room together next year, what a hoot that'll be. John is the funniest person that I know here at Wooster (besides the guys of our improv group "Don't throw shoes"). He's dubbed me TK (Tall Katie) or DK (Donkey Kong). He's always got something to say, and I hate the days when I don't see him at all. He's also got a surprising resemblance to John Lennon...hmm. Gordon is the cherry on top of my sundae, rather M&M's since I don't like cherries. I love seeing him, and I love being with him. He just makes me smile, and he's perfect for me, so deal with it. Katie is the all-time love of my life. She completes me and I never want to be without her, what more could I say? Sure I miss my family, mostly the kid parts, like my sister, and my cousins whom I used to see allllll of the time. I definitely miss my kitty.

Now for classes: Spanish is first thing in the morning and it totally gets me pumped. I'm not the best at it, but I love speaking it, and my teachers got a nice sense of humor. Second is Psychology. Not gonna lie, it's kicking my ass. It's interesting, but I just don't quite absorb it all, but thats ok, I just keep on truckin with a smile on my face. Women's studies, as was mentioned before would be an interesting class if the teacher didn't say "Umm" 15 times in one sentence, but that's besides the point. I'm not too bad at it, and its just a filler class basically. FYS is my first year class, and my teacher is a hippie. It's totally awesome! The class itself is kind of pointless, but that's ok. I have registration soon and I'm definitely taking Spanish II. Also on my list is Women in religion, and Language development in Children. Hopefully I can also get into Production/management which is like Stage Crew (which I so totally miss). I have no clue what to major in, my mom says I should do "Communication sciences and disorders". She has usually called what's best for me, so I'm gonna try it.

Band! Oh band....Kilts are amazing, sporrans are itchy. That's all that can be said. I've been with the band for three months and I still don't recognize half the people in it. There are just too many! Our band directors got a helluva sense of humor, and she just makes everything that much more enjoyable (especially with her escapades on the scissor lift). Basically all of my friends are in band, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Everyday Life: I have a job, I sit at a desk and do nothing but file about 10 papers a day, make copies of time cards, and play sudoku. And I get paid for it! Laundry is getting easier on me, I've pretty much fallen into doing either on Tuesdays or Thursdays when I have very few classes. It's just hell walking up and down three flights of stairs with all that laundry. Speaking of three flights of stairs, they're basically what's keeping me in shape. I've worked out all of one time since I've been here. I need to change that. I've been to two volleyball games (won both), and I go to Swing Dancing every Friday. Gordon teaches it and I'm so glad he got me into it because it's what I look forward to every Friday. It's so fun and Katie, Arielle and I love to do it. I've found that I can only really write papers to movie soundtracks, so whatever floats my boat. I've watched a million movies since I've been here, and we have "House" parties, or study parties, and just plain fun. I hate going to bed before eleven. I've finally found time to continue reading Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer (can't wait for Twilight!!! 11/21!).

I think thats about it for my overview. If there was more, I'll just do it later. Hopefully I'll keep up on this koolio blog thang :) Now off to Band practice!

This is Kaitlynn and Gordon being sad at me :)
